Business reason is scarce: companies have to accept ecological requirements

In the narrow Ybbstal, reasons for business parks are in short supply. That is why there is enormous interest from the business community in the new Kreilhof operating area at the gates of Waidhofen. The five municipalities in the region that operate the six-hectare park through Wirtschaftspark GmbH can therefore be very picky. Waidhofen’s mayor Werner Krammer (ÖVP) announced that the available 60,000 m² of Steinauer Wiese will be divided among around ten companies right next to the B31 leading into the Ybbstal. A contract with the plastics company LITE has already been signed. The city itself will relocate its farm yard and the waste material center here and thus open up two other areas in the city for private use.
