An ex-pedagogue (47) was accused of planning the murder of her 14-year-old child. Today she was on trial: 10 years in prison.
A story of a completely out of joint life came to a provisional end yesterday at the Klagenfurt Regional Court. The 47-year-old was found guilty at the Klagenfurt regional court by a jury of attempted murder of her son.
Not legally binding
The defendant, who once worked as a teacher, is said to have googled 585 times for methods of murder and subsequent suicide. Ultimately, she decided to die by smoke poisoning. Mother and son owe their lives only to the courageous intervention of a relative.
The 47-year-old was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday. The jury ruled five to three votes on attempted murder. Your defense lawyer Philipp Tschernitz asked for time to think about it, so the judgment is not yet final.

The woman is said to have had bipolar disorder for 20 years. Several suicide attempts by a neighbor boy are said to have sparked the imagination of the accused. The justification for her act sounded bumpy: everything was pure coincidence and there were chimneys in the house. The public prosecutor’s office applied to be transferred to an institution.
