The entire class and their families are already segregated. Furthermore, three of the teaching staff are sick with COVID-19. These are also already in quarantine. There are suspected corona cases in five other classes at the school. All affected students are at home and do not take part in lessons.
The city health authority is preparing a PCR test for all students whose parents agree to this step. The parents of all students will be informed of this step. Testing should take place on Monday. The Red Cross will test the boys and girls on site.

The situation was reacted to very quickly, the contact tracing is highly professional, and the sick children have already been segregated, ”explain Mayor Klaus Luger and City Councilor for Health Michael Raml.
