Conversations with Süle on hold
On Tuesday, David Alaba (28) announced that he would leave Bayern at the end of the season when his contract expired. The Munich-based company would like to avoid further top-class departures for free in the future. “Every club wants to avoid losing a top player for free,” said Hasan Salihamidzic of “Sport Bild”.

From Bayern Munich to?
In March, the sports director will also address the issue of extensions at the upcoming supervisory board meeting as part of the presentation of his squad plans. The top performers Joshua Kimmich (26), Leon Goretzka (26) and Kingsley Coman (24) should be tied. “It is our goal to keep this core of players who have walked the road to success with us together,” confirmed Salihamidzic.

Goretzka is one of five professionals whose contracts expire in 2022. The talks with the ex-Schalke are the furthest, according to the sheet. Basically nothing stands in the way of an agreement, the negotiations are to be concretized and concluded in May. The personality of Niklas Süle is different. The talks with the 25-year-old are on hold, both sides are currently hesitating. If there is no extension, the central defender as well as Corentin Tolisso (26) should be put on the sales list.

Coman would like FC Bayern to appreciate more financially
Salihamidzic is also looking to the year 2023, when six working papers will end. As with Goretzka, FC Bayern is also on the right track with Kimmich, according to the magazine. In December there was a first appointment with the 26-year-old’s consultancy agency. Before making a decision, Kimmich should want to talk to the Munich management about the sporting plans and perspectives.
The situation around Coman looks more difficult. Like Alaba, the 24-year-old will be advised by his father, who is said to have already announced himself for talks in Munich. A commitment to FC Bayern beyond 2023 has not yet been made. The strong Frenchman, who was one of the big winners in the last market value update with a plus of 15 million euros, should want more financial appreciation from the record champions. According to “Sport Bild”, Coman currently receives around 12 million euros gross per season and is therefore in the middle of the Bayern squad. Last summer, Manchester United is said to have shown very specific interest in Coman and promised a net salary of 8 million euros per year – about a third more than he earns in Munich.
